BACOLOR, Pampanga — Arestado ang isang atleta ng basketball noong Huwebes matapos umano nitong bentahan ng droga ang isang pulis na nagpanggap na buyer ng marijuana.
Pinasok ng mga operatiba ng Bacolor drug enforcement unit ang kuwarto ng target na si alyas Chris, 25, at isang basketbolista ng Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League ng Nueva Ecija. "A week ago, nagkaroon kami ng sunod-sunod na anti-illegal drug entrapment operation. One thing led to another until nagkaroon nga kame ng lead kung saan ang source nila," ani Police Maj. Louie Gonzaga, hepe ng Bacolor police.
