PMaj. Shellamie Chang, Police Regional Office-9 Public Information Officer, identified the victims as Allie Lomiguis Manangca, barangay captain of Balubuan here, and four members of his family, namely, Ani Lomiguis Manangca, Anisa Jaji Manangca, Alfahad Lomiguis Manangca and Musaddin Basa.Major Chang said the victims were on board barangay captain Manangca’s pickup type truck and were travelling from Sirawai proper to Balubuan when armed men strafed their vehicle using high-powered firearms.
