Agad naman nagsagawa ng inspection ang City Engineering Department ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Davao sa mga gusali ng gobyerno lalo't may 17 government buildings ang nakitaan ng pagbitak dulot ng sunod-sunod na pagyanig nong nakaraang buwan.
