MANILA -- Companies including the Ayala Group, Shell and Robinsons Malls said Monday they extended assistance to those affected by the Taal Volcano eruption.
The Ayala Group said it has mobilized its different business units to provide assistance to evacuees. Manila Water, its water distributing arm, said it sent 30 water tankers and an initial 2,000 five-gallon units of drinking water to different evacuation sites in Batangas. Evacuees fleeing from the volcano can avail of free WiFi connection and overnight parking on Monday in all Ayala Malls in Metro Manila and the Southern Tagalog region.
