Astrologer Zenaida Seva has died, according to her friend, writer Jessica Zafra who broke the news via a series of Instagram stories on Thursday, March 21. Both women enjoyed a close friendship, bonding over movies, especially during the 90s towards the early 2000s. Zafra described Seva as “wise” and a “true eccentric.” “I am on the fence about astrology, but let me tell you: Zenaida was always right. She taught me that everything was connected,” she wrote.
Seva also worked as resident astrologer for the Manila Standard in the early 2000s. She became popular when she ventured into television to deliver daily horoscopes in morning shows. She would often remind her audience to exercise their ‘free will’ and not rely so much on astrology for guidance.free will.(The stars don’t hold our destiny. They are just guides. We have free will. Let’s use it),” Seva used to say. Zafra said the wake and public viewing of Seva’s urn will be held from 12 noon Friday (March 22) until 10:30 P.M. on Sunday (March 24) at Chapel C of the Mortuary Chapels in Christ the King Parish, Green Meadows Avenue, Quezon City
