Francisco Gabriel 'Abeng' Remulla, currently a provincial board member, is running for Cavite governor. His running mate is another bokal, Ramon Vicente 'Ram' Revilla., his nephew Francisco Gabriel “Abeng” Remulla filed his certificate of candidacy for the top provincial post on Tuesday, October 8.
Abeng Remulla, a graduate of public administration from the University of the Philippines Diliman, was appointed by their party, the National Unity Party, as provincial board member in 2022. He took the board seat of his brother Ping after the latter won in a special congressional election to fill the vacancy left by their father, who was appointed to the Department of Justice. Also filing his COC on Tuesday was Ramon Vicente “Ram” Revilla, who is running as Remulla’s vice governor.
Ram is the son of reelectionists Senator Bong Revilla and Cavite 2nd District Representative Lani Mercado-Revilla. His brother Jolo has filed for reelection as 1st District congressman, while his other brother Bryan is currently the representative of the party-list group Agimat, which has also filed its list of nominees for the 2025 election.
