The Archdiocese of Manila has launched a mobile application to serve as a guide for the faithful as the country marks the anniversary of 500 Years of Christianity.

The 500 YOC Mission App, which was launched recently to coincide with its elevation as an archdiocese, will feature the Jubilee Churches in the Archdiocese of Manila.

“In celebration today of the 426th anniversary of the elevation of Manila as an archdiocese, we are launching the 500 YOC Mission App. This is a complete resource for the 500 Years of Christianity Jubilee churches in the Archdiocese of Manila,” the archdiocese said. The mobile application will also feature the schedule of holy masses, confession, devotional prayers, and other liturgical services in the Jubilee Churches. It also contains information on the plenary indulgence and other important information as the Philippines marks the 500 Years of Christianity from April 4, 2021 to April 18, 2022.

“The app contains information on the schedule of masses, Sacrament of Confession, other services, as well as devotional prayers from the different Jubilee Churches. Information about the Plenary Indulgence and how to gain these graces during the jubilee year can also be found in this app,” the Archdiocese of Manila added.

More than 500 churches around the country have been designated as pilgrim churches where visitors may gain a plenary indulgence. Twelve of these jubilee churches are in the Archdiocese of Manila.
