Apple TV's history kick

I already talked about 'Masters of the Air' which is based on the book of the same title about US World War II pilots from the 100th Bombardment Group aka the 'Bloody Hundreth.' These were heroes, skills and machines of a great but fading era with most of the generation having shuffled off this mortal coil. It's produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg and is yet another companion series to the landmark, 'Band of Brothers.

' One can just rabbit hole into the French Revolution and even jump over to 'War and Peace' .On March 15, AppleTV+ released 'Manhunt,' about the hunt for John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated President Abraham Lincoln on April 15th, 1865. Tobias Menzies plays US Secretary of War and trusted Lincoln confidant, Edwin Stanton, who must track down the man who shot Lincoln and investigate a conspiracy to likewise assassinate then Vice president and Secretary of State.
