Three days after their bronze medal finish in the men's team quadrant, the Philippine men's sepak takraw team has once again captured the bronze medal in the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.

This time in the men's regu tournament.

On Friday, the Philippine regu team of Ronsited Gabayeron, Mark Joseph Gonzales, Jason Huerte, Rheyjey Ortouste, and Jom Lerry Rafael, the same men who competed in the quadrant team event, settled for the bronze after losing to Malaysia 2-0 in the semifinals on Friday. They earlier defeated Myanmar and India but lost to Thailand in the group stage. This will mean the Philippine men's sepak takraw team will bring home a pair of bronze medals from the Asian Games.
