America's longest war: 20 years of missteps in Afghanistan

And now, the 20th anniversary of the September 11 attacks on New York and Washington will be marked with the Taliban back in power.

The Afghan army & government should have won. 300,000 troops, thousands of police, billions in armaments, 20 years of training...against a few thousand goat herders armed with Vietnam era weapons. Instead the Afghan army dropped their guns faster than Stormy Daniel's panties.
