Amazon’s e-commerce exports program, dubbed Amazon Global Selling, is expanding its support for local small and medium-sized enterprises by introducing its “innovative” tools and resources that will allow Philippine-based sellers to reach customers all over the world.

Anand Palit, Head of Amazon Global Selling in Southeast Asia said that as Global Selling reaffirms its commitment to supporting Philippine small merchants, “we have seen more and more local sellers starting from zero and gradually building their business on Amazon’s store worldwide.” “With this new team, we will provide insights and resources to support sellers in getting started with Amazon, launching products and building a global brand.”

With the rising adoption of e-commerce and mobile internet, and an emerging generation of young and tech-savvy users, the e-commerce program noted that the cross-border e-commerce landscape continues to show potential for growth in the Philippines.
