Pioneer renewable energy firm Alternergy Holdings Corporation (Alternergy) has cornered three new service contracts for prospective commercial development of offshore wind farm projects along Tablas Strait straddling Mindoro and Antique provinces.

Pioneer renewable energy firm Alternergy Holdings Corporation has cornered three new service contracts for prospective commercial development of offshore wind farm projects along Tablas Strait straddling Mindoro and Antique provinces.

He expounded “our Tablas Strait offshore wind power projects are located in one of the zones identified by a World Bank Study that is most suited to offshore wind development,” reiterating that their pre-development activities shall cover technical studies and resource assessment. For its part, the local RE firm which is chaired by former Energy Secretary Vincent S. Perez, will be leveraging on its “extensive experience in project management, policy and regulatory permitting and financing RE projects in the Philippines.”Alternergy’s robust capacity expansion in the RE space for 1,370-megawatt aspiration – and that will lean primarily on its ‘triple play’ business paradigm of pursuing investments across wind ; solar as well as hydropower technologies.
