Due to the death of incumbent San Juan City Vice Mayor Warren Villa, Mayor Francis Zamora announced on Thursday, June 22, that all Wattah Wattah Festival activities on Saturday, June 24, will be held next week starting June 26. | ManilaBulletin READ:

Zamora made the announcement on his official Facebook page and told the public to wait for further announcements regarding the city's calendar of activities.

On June 19, the mayor issued Executive Order No. 151, Series of 2023 declaring a week-long city-wide mourning period to honor Villa who died of natural causes on Father's Day, June 18. He was 52.The city government said the EO gives the city and its citizens time to honor the late vice mayor.
