Gov. Grex Lagman on Thursday, June 8, said that a state of calamity would allow local government units to use the Quick Response Fund to help affected residents. "It’s only P42 million as we speak, so P30 million po will be allocated but has to be secured via state of emergency being declared. Kailangan po natin ang tulong ng SP in fact tomorrow there will be a special session para po ma-declare na po ‘yung state of calamity so we can access the quick response fund," Lagman said during the PDRRMC meeting on Thursday.
