The bag, which contained 7 thousand three hundred Euros and placed inside two white envelopes, was found by Sixto O. Brillante Jr. of Manila Allied Management Service Cooperative on August 10.The Manila International Airport Authority , the operator of NAIA, said Brillante was mopping the floor inside the male comfort room near the immigration area, when an unknown passenger called his attenrion to inform him about a black sling bag possibly left behind by another passenger.
The black sling bag with its contents were subsequently turned over to the Lost and Found Section of the MIAA’s Intelligence and Investigation Division. “The passenger, however, requested anonymity for purposes other than the official report,” MIAA general manager Ed Monreal said.
