Leopoldo Dominico Petilla, for their support to the pilot batch of the Balik Probinsya, Bagong Pag-asa Program.Petilla said each returnee would receive livelihood assistance based on his or her skills and needs. All returnees underwent swab testing. While waiting for the results, they were taken to quarantine facilities.

Loreta Banario, provincial director of the Technical Education and Skill Development Authority, said the beneficiaries would be given customized program assistance, such as scholarships and skills training appropriate to local industry demands.“We should not discriminate against the returnees as they are our co-Leyteños,” the governor said.

“Simula pa lang ito at marami pang dapat trabahuin para maging mas matagumpay ang BP2 program ,” he said.
