The Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) is asking for more donations for their ongoing relief drive dubbed “1000 from 1000” for the families affected by Typhoon Ambo.

The ADMU in a Facebook post on their official page Friday said that the name means “P1,000 cash donation from 1,000 donors.”

Cash donations from the relief drive will directly benefit families from Samar who are now rebuilding after the devastation caused by Typhoon Ambo. Those who want to donate can visit: sites.google.com/ateneo.edu/donate ,as well as find more about the project. Typhoon Ambo wreaked havoc a few days ago, destroying fishing boats and crops which are the main sources of income of some 40,000 families in Eastern Visayas.

Aside from accepting donations for their “1000 from 1000” campaign, ADMU also said in the FB post that they continue to accept donations for the medical supplies of frontliners fighting the pandemic.
