The Public Information Office in this city said in a statement that as of April 6, 2021, the city health department has vaccinated 88.81 percent or 3,459 out of the 3,895 health workers.In addition to them, 22,039 senior citizens who have registered to get the vaccines have been inoculated, the PIO said.
The city has also already vaccinated 100 percent of the 220 targeted people with co-morbidities under the A3 category who have registered to get to the vaccine and it is currently updating the target under the A3 category based on additional data and registrants. Rep. Florida Robes here said the city will do its best to vaccinate all its residents to ensure that all is protected.
San Jose Del Monte is targeting 70 percent inoculation of its around one million residents to achieve herd immunity, she bared. “No San Joseño should be left behind in this vaccination drive and we will work hard to achieve that for the people of San Jose. We are aiming for 100 percent vaccination! This is the only way for us to move forward from this pandemic,” Robes said.
