7-yr-old boy dies, 11 injured in Quezon road mishap

– A seven-year-old boy died, while 11 persons, including eight children, were injured, when a wayward trailer truck slammed into a tricycle and two houses in Barangay Inaclagan Thursday.Injured were Marianne Jimenez, 10; Trisha Mae Devilles, 14; Lhianne Joy Covacha, 7; Calex Jeron Covacha, 1; Angel Philip Ner, 6; Carmina Ariola, 14; Paul John Maralit, 8; Mark Albert Jimenez, 13; Flor Jimenez and Ruel Rojo, owners of the house; and Liwayway Cal, owner of the tricycle.

The report said Edmar Tuanda Nocos, 29, who was the driver of the trailer truck registered to Fujitrans Logistics Philippines Inc., lost control of the vehicle at around 4:35 p.m. as it was heading to Manila. As a result, it mowed down the tricycle and two houses which were located along the side of the road.
