Seven employees of the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) have tested positive of coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

“As of January 15, 2021, seven employees of the Office of the Solicitor General tested positive for COVID-19 through RT-PCR testing,” the OSG said in a statement.

“To prevent further transmission, the OSG resolved to physically close its office from January 18-20, 2021,” it added.“Only personnel from the sanitation and disinfection team will be allowed in the premises,” the OSG said. “All other employees will continue to perform their work/functions under alternative work arrangements,” it added.

The OSG also advised the public that during the period “no documents will be personally received by the office.”
