– A baby boy was found dead at a dumpsite at Barangay Candau-ay, Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental Friday, February 7.
According to the police, a female scavenger saw an ice cream container, while she was scouring through the garbage at the dumpsite.Inside, she found the lifeless body of the baby. The plastic container was deep under a pile of garbage that was collected by the garbage truck from the city public market and brought to the dumpsite.The baby was brought by the police to the City Health Office for burial.
