6 frontliners in Iligan City test positive for coronavirus COVID19

ILIGAN CITY - Anim na medical frontliner ang nasa treatment facility ngayon ng lungsod matapos magpositibo sa coronavirus disease 2019 .

Sinabi ni Dr. Cherlina Cañaveral, ang City Health Officer, isang district nurse ang nagkaroon ng sintomas ng sakit kaya nagpa-test ito. Ayon sa lokal na Inter-Agency Task Force on COVID-19 response, nakuha nito ang sakit mula sa asawang umuwi matapos ma-stranded sa Maynila. Pero lumabas na ang mga sintomas ng virus noong patapos na ang quarantine period nito.

Sa 39 na direct contact ng district nurse, lima rito ay positibo rin sa sakit at lahat sila ay health workers na nasa kaniyang pamamahala. Pinag-aaralan naman ng lokal na IATF kung ano ang gagawin sa mga pamilyang napuntahan ng mga nagpositibong frontliner noong namigay sila ng bakuna kontra polio sa limang barangay dito. Kasalukuyang isinailalim sa rapid containment ang bahagi ng apat na barangay kung saan nakatira ang frontliners.

Ayon kay Jose Pantoja, ang City Information Officer, wala munang pinapayagang makapasok o makalabas dito hangga’t may local transmission. Sinisikap naman ngayon ng LGU na makahanap ng hahalili sa mga medical frontliners na nagkasakit at naka-quarantine upang hindi matigil ang serbisyo ng opisina.
