SAN FELIPE, Zambales — Fifty-two armed men were detained at various local police custodial facilities after they barged into a private beach resort in this town recently, police said.

Zambales Police Provincial Office director Col. Ricardo Pangan Jr. said the suspects also harassed the guests and workers of the beach resort when they entered the resort's premises at around 4 p.m. on May 28.The police report said one of the suspects was identified as Ryan Lim, 43, a businessman from Caloocan City, who reportedly entered the property by climbing the concrete wall.

The police, however, received an alert on the alleged break-in and immediately sent a team to the scene and eventually brought the suspects and the victims to the municipal police station for questioning.Complaints for harassment, grave coercion and theft have been filed against the 52 suspects who were detained at the custodial facilities of various municipal police stations in the province.
