Barangay Pinagbuhatan in Pasig City received food packs from members of the Eastern Police District-District Community Affairs and Development Division, as part of the BARANGAYanihan program on Sunday.

The BARANGAYanihan program is an initiative by the Philippine National Police that aims to foster police-community partnerships to serve the people’s needs. It includes activities like distributing food packs and conducting feeding programs for the most vulnerable sectors of the community.

The event was conducted by the EPD-DCADD led by PLt. Col. Reynan V. Patam, in collaboration with Remedios A. Bordeos, the president of Acacia’s homeowners association. Each food pack contained around three kilos of rice, canned goods, packs of soy sauce and vinegar, packs of instant noodles, and a bottle of dishwashing soap.
