The Paranaque City police arrested five Chinese nationals and their Filipino cohort in an entrapment operation for the release of their kidnap victim in Paranaque City.

The Paranaque City police arrested five Chinese nationals and their Filipino cohort in an entrapment operation for the release of their kidnap victim, Monday, Jan. 3, in Paranaque City.

They were charged for kidnapping and illegal possession of drugs and are now detained at the Paranaque City custodial facility. Police said the victim, Shaomen Yu, 25, a businessman, was forcibly taken by the suspects infront of Monarch Park Suites at about 4:00 a.m. on Monday .
