Nakuha sa CCTV footage ang pag-akyat sa isang bahay sa Barangay Bucal ng isa sa mga suspek at ang pagsenyas niya sa mga kasama para pumasok sa bahay sa pamamagitan ng pagdaan sa bintana. Pagkalipas ng kalahating oras, kita sa CCTV ang mga lalaki na nagmamadaling makalabas tangay ang ilang gamit ng may-ari na wala noon sa bahay.
Bukod sa mamahaling mga relo at bag may natangay ring mga alahas ang mga salarin kaya umabot sa halos P2 milyon ang nanakaw sa biktima.Ayon sa pulis, posibleng may sindikato sa likod ng tila akyat-bahat modus nila.Hinihintay pa ng pulisya ang utos ng piskalya kung ituturn-over sila sa Department of Social Welfare and Development para sumailalim sa reformation.
