According to Luisito Santos’ Saturday Super Radyo dzBB report, the arrested suspects were under the custody of the Police Regional Office 7 Central Visayas.The Philippine National Police information office said the PNP was also preparing administrative charges against the suspects.
The slain official was a barangay kagawad who was running for a town councilor post in the May 2022 polls. PNP Chief Police General Dionardo Carlos said the arrested suspects were temporarily relieved from their posts as not to interfere with the investigation of the case.
