38 Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs), who lost their jobs, are finally home from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia after being stranded for 2 months.

Overseas Workers Welfare Administration welcomed the group upon their arrival at NAIA from Riyadh on a Kuwait Airways flight on Monday.

According to a report by GMA News, the distressed workers were stranded in their accommodation for two months. Nasser Mustafa, Philippine Overseas Labor Office-OWWA official in Riyadh, assisted the OFWs until they were repatriated.Saudi Arabia is among the top destination countries for OFWs with 24.4 percent of the total 2.3 million OFWs worldwide working there, said the Philippine Statistics Authority .
