The Batangas Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) has recorded three dead and two missing persons due to Typhoon PaengPH.

At a public briefing, Batangas PDRRMO chief Lito Castro said a child in San Juan died after a tree fell while two died in Talisay due to rain-induced landslide.Castro said 2,793 families or 10,956 individuals were in evacuation areas in Batangas.

Castro said aid was also extended to patients who are currently staying at San Juan Gymnasium after they were evacuated from San Juan District Hospital. Castro said a partial report showed that there was at least P2 million worth of agricultural damage due to Typhoon Paeng. They are expecting a partial report on infrastructure damage within the day.
