Nearly 3,000 young Filipinos have availed of the assistance and support for their agribusiness proposals under the agriculture department’s Youth Farmers’ Challenge , the Department of Agriculture said on Monday, Feb. 27.

The department said the program was initiated by the DA’s Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Service , noting that the financial grant can be used as a start-up capital for agri-fishery enterprises. Eldrin Lee, a science major, developed the NAMA Microgreens, one of the program’s successful alums, the DA said.
