The Department of Health (DOH) on Saturday recorded 297 new COVID-19 infections, bringing the nationwide caseload to 3,692,914.

The death toll remained at 60,461 while the total number of recoveries increased to 3,629,648.

The top regions with reported cases in the past two weeks were the National Capital Region with 1,352, followed by Calabarzon with 385, Central Luzon with 233, Western Visayas with 177, and Central Visayas with 108. According to data obtained from 321 testing laboratories, a total of 17,685 people were tested for the coronavirus on Friday.VBL, GMA News
