A 22-year-old student died after falling from a footbridge in Morayta, Manila on Tuesday, July 17. | ManilaBulletin READ:

The victim was identified as Keilo Acuin, a native of Calbayog City, Samar, who was staying at Ventura Residences, Delos Santos Street, Sampaloc, Manila.

According to the Manila Police District , the victim was a third-year Medical Technology student from the Far Eastern University . Based on a closed-circuit television footage, the victim was seen climbing the footbridge at around 3:15 a.m.The MPD said the victim was pronounced dead on the spot.Meanwhile, the FEU administration expressed grief over the death of its student.

"Our deepest sympathies go out to Keilo's family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. We ask everyone to kindly respect their privacy and join us in offering prayers and heartfelt condolences. May their hearts find solace and healing, as we stand in solidarity with them," the statement read.

"We acknowledge that our students, faculty, and staff have all been affected by this tragic event. The FEU Guidance and Counseling office and the Healing Spaces Psychology Center are open and available to everyone seeking succor and solace," it added.
