Kanlaon emitted 151 tonnes of sulfur dioxide on May 1 and its edifice has slightly inflated, according to the PHIVOLCS.
The entry into the 4-kilometer radius permanent danger zone and flying any aircraft close to the volcano are prohibited, PHIVOLCS said. PHIVOLCS also warned of possible sudden steam-driven or phreatic eruptions based on the activity of the volcano.
