MAYNILA — Umakyat sa 21 ang naaresto dahil sa ilegal na pagpapaputok ng baril mula noong Disyembre 16 hanggang Enero 1. Ayon kay Police Brig. Gen.

Bernard Banac, tagapagsalita ng Philippine National Police , kabilang dito ang 14 na sibilyan, 2 sundalo, 1 pulis, 1 militiaman at 3 guwardiya.

Timbog din ang isang Chinese national na nagpaputok ng baril sa tapat ng isang music bar sa Roxas Boulevard, Pasay City. Nakapagtala rin ang PNP ng 3 insidente ng mga bahay na tinamaan ng ligaw na bala — 1 sa Metro Manila at 2 sa Caraga Region. Matatanggal naman sa serbisyo at kakasuhan ang pulis at sundalong nasangkot sa indiscriminate firing. — Ulat ni Zhander Cayabyab, ABS-CBN News
