Two suspects wanted for murder and illegal drug trade were arrested in separate operations in Bulacan and Pasig City.According to Emil Sumangil's "24 Oras" report, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group arrested a 41-year-old businessman who is wanted for illegal drug trafficking in Meycauayan, Bulacan. The police recovered a pistol from the suspect. According to the CIDG Bulacan Provincial Field Unit, the suspect is from Marawi.
In Pasig City, authorities arrested a wanted person due to murder. “This emanates from cases of dispute in illegal drug transactions, so we were able to arrest immediately few days,” said Police Brigadier General Wilson Asueta. According to the police, the crime happened inside the victim's house.“Pinasok ito sa bahay nila mismo, sinipa ang pintuan at pinag-puputukan ang biktima,” said Police Major Raul Salle, Chief, Eastern Police DIstrict - Special Operations Unit.
