Ayon kay Provincial Administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz ang dalawang bagong kaso ng COVID-19 ay mga overseas Filipino worker na kakauwi lamang ng Negros Occidental noong Abril 14.
Si Patient No. 3 ay taga-Silay City na dumating sa Pilipinas noong Marso 24, habang si Patient No. 4 ay taga-bayan ng Candoni at ni-repatriate noong Marso 17.Kasalukuyang naka-quarantine sila sa provincial healing center sa bayan ng Enrique B. Magalona. Pareho silang asymptomatic, ayon kay Diaz, pero dahil na-expose na rin ang ibang mga OFW na kasama nilang dumating sa probinsya, palalawigin ang quarantine period nila.Sa kabuuan, may 4 kaso na ng COVID-19 na naitala ang Negros Occidental.
