The first “Kadiwa ng Pangulo” center in the Bicol Region has generated at least P1.2 million in sales since it was launched, according to the Presidential Communications Office on Sunday.

President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. on Thursday, March 16, 2023 leads the launching of"Kadiwa ng Pangulo" program in Pili, Camarines Sur. The project aims to provide farmers and fishers as well as micro, small and medium enterprises a direct market for their products. MPC POOL

The outlet, which was based in Pili, Camarines Sur, has so far reached a total sales of P1,212,074. Of this, P431,162 was recorded on the first day, and P780,912 on the second day.The Marcos administration has launched more than 500 outlets nationwide. Good work. Hopefully, the government should institutionalize this initiative in each municipal/city/Barangay market to serve as a deterrent and check to local market prices. It is more effective than imposing suggested retail price and monitoring.
