In a statement, the city government said the test was conducted by the Angeles City Anti-Drug Abuse Council at the city hall lobby a few days ago.It said the activity was in line with Mayor Carmelo Lazatin Jr.’s goal of reducing the demand for illegal drugs and promoting a drug-free workplace, especially in government offices.
Those who were subjected to a surprise drug test included 144 traffic enforcers and office personnel of the traffic development office and 32 public transportation and regulatory office employees.
