CEBU CITY, Philippines - The mandatory 14-day quarantine for travelers arriving in Cebu from areas infected with the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has been expanded to already include

Garcia, last March 9, 2020, also included passengers arriving from Italy and Iran in the mandatory quarantine protocol because of the number of COVID-19 cases and the high mortality rate there. Spain, Italy, and Iran are not covered by the travel ban imposed by the Philippine national government in view of the COVID-19 threat. Local Government Units like the Cebu provincial government cannot also order for the imposition of a travel ban on international travels.
