CEBU CITY, Philippines -- Only 15 percent of the employees of the Cebu City Hall are not yet vaccinated, which means that City Hall workers are getting close to getting their Christmas

Cebu City Hall

Most of these individuals are job-order employees, whose work is contract-based and does not have an employer-employee relationship with the city government. Mayor Michael Rama warned the employees, casual, regular, or JO that those who would refuse to be vaccinated would suffer the consequences for their decision.

This means that the city government may or may not renew their contracts if they will be vaccinated, although Rama has refused to categorically say if this is the plan.
