There is a school of thought that writer’s block comes from having no ideas at all. I like to refer to it as the ‘creative juices’ not flowing enough or

even at all. Others say it comes from an overflow of ideas when there is a clash of interests that your mind cannot narrow it down to one.

As a lover of good literature, some of the group of people who make me accept who I am as a Nigerian, apart from great Northerners include Igbo writers like Buchi Emecheta, Flora Nwapa and the great Chinua Achebe. In fact, as I write this I remember from my secondary school days how my usually boring literature class would come alive when discussing Chinua Achebe’s Things Fall Apart.

I know people hear the phrase “Civil War” and think it happened centuries back whereby only our ancestral fathers witnessed it. It actually happened some 50 years ago and our parents, including some of our immediate aunties and uncles, were alive and had experienced it. Today, the wealthiest demographic in Nigeria is arguably the Igbos who acquire their wealth from sheer sweat and determination. This wealth can actually be traced back to that 20 Nigerian Pounds and how they managed to achieve this is by creating generational wealth.

The ‘Nwa Boy’ scheme has been in existence for a long time in the southeastern region and can be said to be responsible for the root of many successful ventures. I understand that the media is a powerful tool to educate, inform and entertain in a positive light and enhance coordination on a norm or action through creating common knowledge. Still, some of the information disseminated over a period of time causes us all to update our beliefs be it shared or personal.

So you're saying anything that happens in the East is done by IPOB? This same IPOB that the government humiliated? The government committe crime to humanity everyday on IPOB, yet you saw it and kept mute , this is pure wickedness against the tribe

We said, but the IPOB are not militant, they're peaceful protesters, I could remember when dey embark on their peaceful protest the Nigeria security agencies killed, shoot at sight to them, we all saw it nd we kept silent, this same IPOB carry their protest in different con

There is no IPOB militant seeking secession by violence yet. IPoB said its goal is secession through peaceful means of referendum. The closest thing to use of force is by Eastern Security Network who operate in the forests against terrorists pretending to be Fulani herdsmen.

Stupid. Where has she been with her pen when igbo were killed for asking for biafra peacefully.that igbo guy she said they call cef we dash her. Fulani woman, mass comm. C dem. What was d jamb cut off u use enter school biko?

If you like, hate the IPOB, it is no one's business. You're only engulfed by ignorance even as a writer. Secession is as a result of the hate you northern idiot exhibit. We are tired of it and we must leave.

Very good article. Never mind the brain dead, bigoted miscreants and their stupidities. If anything, you tried a little too hard with the placation. June12Protest KeepitOn Nigeria Tinubu

Good attempt at showing your negative perception of IPOB but silent on the rampaging Fulani Herdsmen. A good writer would first reveal the social ills of his/her people before poking eyes on others.

Beautiful nonsense

'IPOB militants who are seeking secession through violent means' That alone speaks volume of your position as a Fulani . Igbos don't hate anyone. We just wanna be left alone. If you wanna feel relevant, get to the genesis of the story and stop parading your selfishness.

You should write more about Boko Haram.

Point of correction... IPOB is not a militant group, we demand for one thing which is referendum.

If fulani loves Igbo, then they should grant them their wish and see if it will not benefit all We don't want war,but what else is left when one is economic and political strangulated. Ports and factories all shut down and u talk about unity
