The community members which comprises men, women, and their children, carried their foodstuff, mats and other properties along with them to the Government House to express their dismay. They lamented that some of the community members had been shot by the bandits leaving them with various injuries, insisting that the government should return the troops and deploy an additional contingent to secure the community to guarantee their safety.
State Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology, Wadatau Madawaki, and his counterpart in the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning, Abdul Malik Gajam, received the peaceful protesters. They assured that the state government is doing its best to ensure the security and safety of the residents in line with their campaign promises, and it will ensure troops are redeployed to protect the Bini community and other troubled communities in the State.
