The Zamfara State Police Command has dismissed media publications that there was an attack on its station at Shinkafi.
Following the reports, the Zamfara State Police Command, in a statement by SP Mohammed Shehu, Police Public Relations Officer, on Sunday, said contrary to a misleading report on Page 8 of the Daily Trust Newspaper of Saturday 25th September 2021, there was no attack on any police station in Shinkafi LGA or any part of Zamfara State.
“No loss of life either from the security forces or the inhabitants. Similarly, nobody was abducted,” the statement said
