Zamfara: Justice Has Been Served In The Holy Month Of Ramadan - Atiku.

Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the 2019 presidential election, Atiku Abubakar has commended and celebrated the judgment of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, which declared the PDP as winner of the gubernatorial election in Zamfara State as well as in the state’s House of Assembly elections.

Atiku commended the Lord Justices for putting aside the interests of the powerful and upholding the interests of Nigeria and Nigerians. “God first, Nigeria second, must be our priority as trustees of the people.”“When justice prevails, the people rejoice, chains are broken, freedom is multiplied and society is enriched.”

He stressed that in so doing, they will write their names for good on the sands of time and avoid the infamy that oppressors wish to thrust on them as their legacy.

Why I asked Justice Bulkachuwa to withdraw from presidential election tribunal – AtikuThe main opposition candidate in the February presidential election, Atiku Abubakar, has explained his decision to request that the President of the Court of Appeal, Zainab Bulkachuwa, withdraws from the presidential election petition tribunal. Mr Abubakar and his party, PDP, are challenging the victory of President Muhammadu Buhari in the election. They asked Mrs Bulkachuwa to withdraw from the five-member panel she headed. They based their demand on Mrs Bulkachuwa’s relationship with an APC leader. Her husband is a Bauchi senator-elect on the APC platform.
