The Zamfara State Government has announced the discharge of 18 coronavirus patients from the state’s COVID-19 Isolation Centre, Damba, Gusau, after showing full recovery from the virus.
According to him, Alhaji Nasiru Magarya, the speaker of the House of Assembly, who is also the Chairman, State’s Taskforce on COVID-19 made the disclosure after receiving the NCDC certification on the victims in Gusau. He said, “With this development, the number of COVID-19 patients dropped from 73 to 55 in the state while the state had recorded only five deaths.
