Speaking at the second combined 3rd and 4th convocation ceremonies at the Federal University, Gusau , the Governor said that the state government has allocated a significant amount to the education sector in the 2024 fiscal budget to address the educational backwardness in the state. According to him, his administration has already declared a state of emergency on education, noting that serious renovation work on schools has been ongoing in the state.
' On security, Governor Lawal said that his administration has invested substantial resources to ensure the success of the local security outfit, the Community Protection Guard . 'We will continue to put in our best efforts to ensure the security of lives and property in our state. It is very certain that the insecurity situation didn't start with our administration; we inherited it.
