In May, the Zamfara State House of Assembly amended the Zamfara State Emirate Council Establishment Law No. 15 of 2000 to allow for the creation of two additional emirate councils.

The northern region's lack of infrastructural and social development lends itself to neo-feudal aberrations like such. The government shows extreme fragility in an inability to even win the hearts and minds of its people, much less on the battlefield. This does not bode well.

This insecurity would only end when those that are responsible for securing our lives and properties are ready to end it. Allah ya kawo ma na sauki amin.
