You Can't Force N340 Per Litre On Us – Nigerian Labour Groups, NLC Warn Buhari Over Fuel Price Hike | Sahara Reporters

The Nigerian Labour Congress has warned the Federal Government over its proposed increase of the Premium Motor Spirit from N162 to N340 by next year, 2022.

NLC President, Comrade Ayuba Wabba, who spoke at the 17th NLC Harmattan School in Ilorin, Kwara State, insisted that contrary to some views by seasoned labour unionist Chief Frank Kokori, the congress was out to empower its members to be better equipped in tackling unfavourable policies that would further impoverish Nigerians.

“When the price of crude oil was almost at a zero level, the price of two items that were deregulated never came down – diesel and kerosene. In fact, they kept going up.

NLC. You don't have a voice any longer because you're a willing tools to buhari administration. You couldn't fight for your right in order to defend the people. They had already implemented it and there is nothing anyone can do. Nigerians will pay it and still smiling.

When Nigerians are ready for real transformation this is how it will be but until then hypocrite NLC should shut up and keep choping govt money to keep quiet and feel good about their selves.

This is part of the reason the government should stop subsidizing the price of fuel,the government should put in place low taxes and regulations and allow the free market to have its way on the cost of petroleum products.

He will and it's quite unfortunate that there's nothing our politically motivated NLC can do about it. After all, we know that once brown envelopes changes hands, they will back down from whatever action they plan to do.
