Ahmad Lawan, the President of the Senate, has dispelled a report circulating that he has made a U-turn on his earlier decision not to appeal the judgement

Lawan in a statement via his media aide, Ola Awoniyi described the report as ‘utter falsehood’.

The statement also explained that if anybody is dissatisfied and decides to challenge the verdict of the court, it has nothing to do with the President of the Senate. According to the statement the Senate President has made his own position public and has since moved on. “He is a man of his words”.
