Mr. Abdullahi Bawa Wuse, a first-term lawmaker has emerged the Speaker of the Niger State House of Assembly.Wuse was born in 1963 in Sabon Wuse and is a legal practitioner.
He was also a former Chairman of Tafa Local Government Council and a former commissioner for Justice and Attorney General in the administration of former Governor Babangida Aliyu.The new speaker was a former chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, but decamped to the ruling All Progressives Congress and contested under its platform for the Tafa constituency seat in the March 2019 Governorship/ Assembly elections.Alfa is a second-term member who was born in 1960.
